Shipping Policy & Lead Time
The period from order submission to delivery is referred to as lead time. Lead time is the total time to process, fulfill, and deliver an order. Lead time can be from just a few days to four weeks depending upon the nature of your order. Please contact us if your order has a required delivery date to discuss your options.

International Delivery Addresses
Orders for delivery outside of the United States are delivered by DHL at the lowest priced service level available. Return shipping fees for refusal of an order will be charged to the customer.
Order Processing
Orders must be entered into our order entry system before they can be fulfilled. This procedure is called order processing. Order processing occurs within 1 business day of receipt. We will contact the customer immediately if an order cannot be processed due to incomplete or conflicting information provided on the order.
Order Fulfillment
The time required to package and prepare an order for shipping can take from 1 business day to 3 weeks. Orders for stock hardware are fulfilled in our warehouse and are ready to ship in 1 to 3 business days. Orders for non-stock hardware such as padlocks that are keyed to a particular non-stock key code may take up to 3 weeks to be fulfilled since most non-stock models must be built-to-order.
Order Delivery
Order delivery is the time-in-transit from our warehouse to the final destination. The various shipping options are listed below.
Free Shipping Option
The free shipping option may be offered on orders being delivered in the Continental USA. Security chain and file bar orders do not qualify for the free shipping option. By choosing the free shipping option the customer understands that they may not choose the shipping method and agrees that the order may be delivered by the US Postal Service, UPS ground, UPS SurePost, or Fedex ground. Orders may also be drop shipped from the manufacturer by the carrier of their choice. Do not choose free shipping if the delivery address cannot accept delivery by all of these methods. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or an international address do not qualify for free shipping.
US Postal Service Delivery (1 to 4 business days-in-transit)
The US Postal Service delivery option is available for addresses in the Continental USA, Alaska, and Hawaii for all orders. Transit time is 1 to 4 business days depending upon the distance from Essington, PA.
UPS Ground (1 to 5 business days-in-transit)
The UPS ground delivery option is available for addresses in the Continental USA for all orders. Transit time is 1 to 5 business days depending upon the distance from Essington, PA.
UPS 2ND Day Air (2 business days-in-transit)
The UPS 2nd Day Air delivery option is available for "In Stock" items shipping to addresses in the Continental USA, Alaska, and Hawaii for all orders. Transit time is 2 business days. Orders must be received before 12 PM EST Monday-Friday as we do not ship on Saturday or Sunday. Orders shipping on a Friday via 2nd Day Air would typically deliver on Tuesday of the following week unless there is a holiday on Monday and/or Tuesday which would add to the transit time
UPS Next Day Air (1 business day-in-transit)
The UPS Next Day Air delivery option for is available for "In Stock" items shipping to addresses in the Continental USA, Alaska, and Hawaii for all orders. Transit time is 1 business day. Orders must be received before 12 PM EST Monday-Friday as we do not ship on Saturday or Sunday. Orders shipping on a Friday via Next Day Air would typically deliver on Monday of the following week unless there is a holiday on Monday which would add to the transit time
Customer Order Pickup
Customers are permitted to pick up their order or arrange for third party pickup by the carrier of their choice. The order payment must be processed in full prior to pickup and a scheduled pickup time must be agreed upon by both the seller and the customer. All fees associated with third party pickup are the responsibility of the customer.
