About Rekeyable Padlocks

Solid steel Padlocks are the most difficult padlocks to defeat by force. Other padlocks are constructed from softer materials such as brass, aluminum, and cast zinc. Solid steel is significantly harder that these materials. This means that if a padlock body constructed from softer material is struck with a hammer or attacked with a cutting or drilling tool, the softer materials easily distort and fail and the padlock shackle can be forced open. Since solid steel is much harder than these materials it cannot be forced open as easily. Choose to buy solid steel padlocks online for your most vulnerable security applications.
